As well as individual lessons we also offer extra classes alongside at minimal cost to further develop our students for those who want it.
We offer a range of classes designed to develop the musician as a whole.
An Environment of Growth
North-West Strings was an idea born from our desire to share everything we know about music.
We believe that there are many aspects that work together in order to create a great musician and, with North-West Strings, we want to foster growth in all these areas, allowing our students to go as far as they want to with their musical journey.

When I watch Andrew teach the kids, I understand the meaning of being a teacher.
His passion for the violin inspires the kids to enjoy playing and love music. His lessons are so fun that my kid is eager to attend and always asks for a longer lesson than he currently has.
Andrew goes out of his way, doing funny and silly things to grab the kids’ attention. Even though it’s easy for them to lose concentration, he always finds ways to keep them engaged. I really appreciate that he prepared musical picture books and read to my kid, helping him focus better during lessons.
We’re not just talking violin lessons; Andrew organizes a range of activities and events out of lessons, so the kids have opportunities to perform for the audience.

Baris has been learning the violin with Andrew for nearly a year and has made great progress in this time.
Andrew makes it interesting and challenging for Baris and Andrew is such a committed musician that inspires his students to do their best.
Baris loves the concerts they participate in and looks forward to seeing the other students his age.
He has participated in a couple of activities organized by Andrew outside of the violin classroom and this expands his friend group and gives him confidence.
